Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a Lenovo legion slim 5 with the Nvidia 4060, that's almost 2 years old and it's well past the warranty. I was starting to get concerned at how hot my laptop could get after playing four to five straight hours of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I had bought several other laptop fan "coolers" that just didn't seem to do the job. After seeing this product on a YouTube video I went straight to Amazon and bought right away. And I have no regrets. Laptop stand itself is sturdy even with the turning capability which stays in place with each click. You can raise or lower the fan / cooling plate apart from the stand, by a couple notches to line up perfectly with with your fan/air intakes. The plate in between the two fans actually gets cold which in turn enables the two fans to push actually cold air up into your laptop. The lower temperature of my laptop was instantly noticeable. I've been able to play 10 hours straight, without my laptop getting hot to the touch. At most it gets a little warm. There is a noticeable 5 to 10 c drop in temperature. I highly recommend. Awesome product my only concern is the two lips that hold the laptop from sliding down could be just a little bit bigger. But it is well worth the asking price. Doesn't get very loud it's actually much quieter than the fans inside the laptop.

But as a laptop cooler, it does its job perfectly. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Tilt, metal construction. Cools well. Reasonably quiet too. Cradles my laptop at an angle for easy view. Wish there was a way to control it from the laptop too. Or set preferences on when it comes and turns off. The swivel, and tilt is great. Adding versatility to the product especially if presentation is the goal. Recommend external USB power for maximum performance. Long video editing or recording sessions is where I really appreciate this cooler. Compared to another cheaper oneI bought. This one is a long term keeper. Recommended.

Works as advertised. Better than a lot of other similar laptop stands intended to provide additional cooling and/or airflow under a laptop that otherwise gets too hot.Advantages:1. Keeps the laptop cool and has plenty of space underneath for air flow when extended.2. Adjustable.3. I like the steel plate on the bottom.Problems:1. A bit too small for a 16" laptop; the steel plate could use some kind of fold out extension arm to keep it from tipping backwards when used on a softer surface such as a bed.2. The hinges hold position by friction, and a heavier laptop will easily collapse them. I had to jam an empty soda can between the laptop and the base plate, with the cooling module holding it in place, in order to keep it from collapsing.3. In the fully collapsed position, the cooling module is awkward and is dislodged from the rack it mounts on. There doesn't seem to be anything securing it to the rack other than spring loaded pegs and gravity. Some kind of latch for the cooling module or for the hinges would help.4. The cooling module can be a little high on power consumption, and can occasionally overcurrent a USB port if you plug it straight in to the laptop.

My Intel MacBook Pro 16" is thermal-modded, and the performance boost is incredible—it runs so much faster! However, the bottom base gets quite hot even on a normal workload.This laptop fan with the Thermal Semiconductor is such an excellent combination—super quiet and cools the base almost instantly. The MacBook now runs at full performance with near zero throttling, even during heavy use.The product is well-built and feels premium. I’m genuinely impressed with both the design and overall quality. Thank you—highly recommended!
