Q: Why I can not control temperature?

The temperature should be controllable, between 500-700F. It is specifically manufactured for use with a one pound cylinder, therefore, any other style propane may cause it not to function correctly. Q: What is the changes in new version

Do not buy one of these. The regulator on mine failed and Masrerbuilt was slow at even responding. After 3 weeks of waiting I called them to find out where the part was and then they told me it was unavailable. They eventually refunded me but I missed the summer with a grill. Bite the bullet and buy the Weber 1200. It’s built like a tank and Weber stands behind their products.
