I did not purchase these tools for a tattoo. I purchased them so when I pierced my nose (2 on each nostril) they would be even. I used the black tool, sorry I do not know the proper name for it. I used it to get even marks on my nose. It worked beautifully. I would definitely buy it. The quality of the tools is very good.

Just received my package today. and all other tools were good except this black measuring tool that is supposed to open but I'm having a hard time. I don't want to destroy the merchandise by pulling on it because it's already soooo fragilely made. I'm scared I will break it and then will not be able to return. Once again, everything else was great except the black measuring tool that's supposed to open.
