Received the knife today, nice knife but I found a crack at one of the brass pins not certain if it was a shipping issue or poor quality control, and I do not know if it worth messing with the Amazon return folk as I have had unpleasant times doing so in the past. The sheath is not what I have see on similar knives such as the bone inlay one where the sheath is much nicer, and the brass guard and pummel dose not pop like in the picture but I think I'm OK with that being it gives a more rustic look, but will see what a little polish will do. would I buy from them in the future? not sure I think they need to up their game and show the sheath and look at it the knives before it leaves the the shop.

I bought this as a gift for my son. Each year at the Holidays we add a new knife to his collection. This year we decided to look for a Damascus steel blade. The blade has great patterning, a comfortable handle, and nice balance. I think he will love it.
