I don’t have side effects. They are from plants. I don’t fear using these. I get severe cramps and they help a lot.

I've been taking a sustained-release 30mg capsule previously but the brand is expensive and often unavailable. When I found out this was a tablet and very inexpensive, I decided to give it a try. I take 1/2 tablet first thing in the morning and then the other 1/2 at mid-day. Works just as well as the previous capsule and I don't experience the "crash" I had previously when taking other immediate-release preparations. I have the energy I need to be productive all day long and it doesn't affect my sleep. Very happy, especially given the low price.

After extensive blood work, my doctor told me that I was low and should start taking this supplement. After 2 weeks I have more energy and an overall better mood. After 3 weeks my resting heart rate went down 10 BPS.

I am a very cynical person and have my doubts about supplements, but my doctor would not prescribe hormones and menopause was driving me nuts. Not so much the hot flashes, although I did get them, but the little pudgy roll that was coming on my formerly skinny waist, and I swear I suspected that I was developing dementia. And lost a lot of interest in ... you know what. So I did a little research, thought the price was not very high and liked that this brand is made in the USA. I am surprised to report that I feel much better! More energy, more enthusiasm, less belly roll, and more, um, the only word I can think of is a little trashy so I'm not gonna say it. Just that I am pleased with the product!

Used Pregnenolone for years. Love the extra energy and brain fog clearing from it. Recently increased from Source Naturals 25mg to Best Naturals 30mg, but I always split these in half! So actually went from 12.5mg to 15mg daily, in the morning. These snap in half pretty easily. Be careful and don't take too much starting up as it will affect your sleep, so start at a lower dose and see how it does. Update: Lately I've taken two 30mg tabs, yes 60 mg, when I'm feeling really tired certain mornings, and wow, my mind seems sharp as a tack, and my energy is really fantastic! Of course I'm 60 years old, so it feels like i'm in my 30's again! Happy Trails!

I'm not overly sure how effective this product is. Typically I purchase capsules with powder inside and this is the first time I've actually tried a standard pill that was not a capsule. I don't think it's as effective and I somewhat question the quality of this product. Moving forward I don't think I will purchase this type and style again.
