Great for Safari
Purchased and used on a Safari in Tanzania, though it was sugested not to bring a tripod. To be fair, I only used the monopod capability and it was a life saver. Trying to hold a heavy camera with 200-500mm lens was difficult without the monopod as I am over 70 now. This monpod was very light, tiltabile and easy to extend and retract as necessary across while travelling across some very rough roads. I've used it several times since and it is now my go-to support for most situations where opportunity doesn't really allow the time to setup a tripod, but extra stability is necessary. The tripod feature is nice as well to help stabalize the position of the base.

Would have 5 stars if not for the top flip-screw/receiver design.
The media could not be loaded. I received this and used it over the weekend. It is a light but sturdy tripod. The leg latches and feet work beautifully. Luckily I played with it the night before since the double screw/receiver has some quirks.I thought I would save some time by screwing the flip-screw into the tripod first before plugging it in the receiver. It felt loose and I realized it would easily pull/drop out. After 5 minutes I took the screw off the tripod, and put it in the receiver first. I noticed it went much further down in the socket and caught just fine. Now when the tripod head is on it doesn't pull out. It winds up the last 2-3 threads on the screw are worthless because that distance is needed to drop the flip-screw down far enough. I tried this on several photo and video tripod and fluid heads. All had this same issue. The other quick is that if you tighten the tripod on securely, it may keep the screw button head from being pressed in. You need to turn the tripod an 1/8 of a turn to loosen it and then the button will work.Removed one start because I was going to get an extra flip-screw and bring and quick swap photo and video video heads as needed. It was great buy at the sales price but at full price I would've gone with the iFootage because of these issues.

This is a great monopod with lots of features !!
I used to have a Manfrotto monopod for my photography events and did the job well. When I decided to do my crossover to video, I was in the need of something very practical, versatile and lightweight. So my searching begun. After many reading and analyzing, this monopod checked all the boxes. And so far, it was a great investment. So practical and the fact that I have the chance to relief all the pressure and rest my arms makes this product a must have.Very lightweight considering all the stuff I put it in including my gimbal with all the gadgets I use with my camera + 24-70 and more.Feels solid, sturdy, and the quick release system was very well thought by the fabricant. Everything stays in place until you need it out.Highly recommended

Best monopod I have owned
Highly adjustable, lightweight, compact yet solidly supports my camera and long lens. The small tripod base gives this monopod some extra stability when on slippery rocks like in a stream bed capturing waterfall shots. The retractable spike is nice on wood or firm surfaces and doubles as a walking stick. When retracted the rubber foot works well on floors and tile. The adjustable sections work well and provide easy height adjustment. I like the feel the head has as it rotates on the monopod. The twisting break also can adjust the tension on the rotating head. A ball joint on the tripod base can be used without the monopod pole for a mini tripod.Overall extremely happy with this!

Solid monopod
This is a very sturdy monopod. It’s able to hold my R6 and 70-200 lens easily. The legs make a nice base and detach if you need a short tripod. It’s a bit heavy but not too bad.

High quality with a friendly price
Another innovative and well thought out Chinese product. The anodized aluminum alloy is clearly CNC cut and very high quality. If this were to come from Germany, they will charge you more than $500 for it.Usage scenarios are well thought out and I'm so glad they tested and used it themselves.Well done Sirui. Keep innovating for your customers and you will continue to be successful!

High Quality Pod
Just took this up and down Argentina. Well built and I like the quick disconnect for the camera to the pod. Wish I could get a second disconnect for a second camera.
