I tried everything—changing cables, ports, etc. It turned out the issue was my docking station... and it has only gotten worse since then. Initially was really happy with this item at the price point but unfortunately after a few weeks in, the dock continued to disconnect and reconnect everything attached to it. Mic, monitor, entire laptop. The only way to stop it was to completely power off and wait 30 second. It would work as intended for a few days. As of today (4 months after purchase) the dock has now completely stopped working. Poor product.

Good hub, but stopped working, almost one year later. :(

I was not familiar with this brand but some research suggests that Ugreen has put a lot of effort into improving their products. This particular hub is premium and there is no doubt about it. It has a really beautiful metal body that looks sharp and matches Apple equipment particularly well. I will say that the included GaN charging brick is fantastic. It provides a significant amount of power to run the hub and charge my computer at the same time, and both of those cables are included. The charger includes an additional C port for charging an additional device, so it's a really nice addition. The driver was pretty straightforward to install. It did include a Mini CD for installing the drivers, but I did not feel like digging out my external CD/DVD-Rom driver to install it. Instead I used the link to find the driver that, strangely, is hosted on MediaFire. Once installed I was ready to go.So far, everything has been working pretty well with my dual monitor setup. I have occasionally run into an issue where my computer will not detect a monitor plugged in, even though the other devices plugged into the hub have worked fine. So I will have to do some restarting to get everything to work again. I'm not sure that the hub is the culprit, so I haven't removed any stars for this issue until I determine the cause. It also can run very hot. I don't know how hot it should be and it hasn't caused an issue yet, but it is something I noticed. Other than these few observations, I've been very happy with it. It includes just about every port I could ever need and the small size makes it pretty portable.
