Speck Products CandyShell Pro Case fits iPhone 14 Pro, 6.1" Model, Spring Purple/Energy Red

I really like the spring purple/energy red as far as color goes. However after only ONE week of regular use it was dingy and discolored. Tried to wipe it clean with a damp cloth but that didn’t work. Also, the raised bumper around the camera slopes away at the bottom and allows the bottom lens to touch if you lay it camera down on a surface. After years of being happy with multiple speck candy shell cases I had to send this one back and buy a different brand. This one is not a shiny material but has a “softer” feel. It makes it easy to hold/grip but the material just didn’t stand up to even one week of use before it looked terrible (dingy), maybe a darker color would be fine though.

I have used Speck phone cases for almost a decade. They provide great protection and are well made. But this case was SO disappointing. After less than a month’s use the front and back edges have all become blackened with normal use/holding. It looks disgusting. Normal soap and water won’t get the dirty coloring off. I haven’t used the phone a bunch outdoors or doing dirty activity. It’s just from normal holding with clean hands and laying on normal countertops/tables. I’m going to have to get a new phone case bc it looks so bad. This is super disappointing bc I was really excited about this case, now it just looks embarrassing. Also, the material is super slick and not easy to hold. Overall, a total disappointment. Unless you are getting a completely black case, don’t buy this!

Great phone case, but it doesn’t have the MagSafe built in, so the phone doesn’t always charge with the charging pad and you can’t use the magnetic pop socket attachment with it.

love speck but cannot recommend as it became extremely discolored after about a week of having it. maybe a different color would work? not entirely sure…

It has protected my new phone for month I’ve had it. But the case itself has been scratched and scuffed when being dropped, and the matte layer is peeling on both sides where you hold the phone. No scratches or cracks on the phone but the case itself hasn’t held up that great.
